The Dunes Tour

Join me on a world-class fun experience for all. We drive to the top of the Walker Bay Nature reserve and start from the top of an incredible Dune field on a 6km adventure. The tour is excellent for anyone that can ride a bike and loves nature. Whether you are a pro-rider or just a novice you will love the experience as it is completely unique and fun from start to finish. For the those no so confident there are easy routes around the Dunes and for the adrenaline lover come and experience the steep faces of the Dunes and learn how to ride down them with ease. I will show you how to Slalom Ski down the Dunes and tackle the steep faces safely with ease.

In the 8 years that I have been doing this I have accommodated all different skill levels and I tailor the rides according to all my rider’s comfort each trip as we navigate our way down the Dunes to the beach. I have taken Pro-riders to children as young as tall 6 years olds to a fit 86 year old gent 🙂

The trips are paced for all and should you want to ride up and down the dunes several times that gives me more pleasure and photographic opportunities 🙂

Itinerary

Winter Morning Trip – (May – September)
09:00 – Meet at the Roundhouse or if staying locally we can collect you if you do not have a car
09:15 – Drive up to the top of the reserve
11:30 – Reach the bottom of the Dunes where the vehicle will be waiting at the stunning Die Plaat Beach

Winter Sunset Trip – (May – September)
15:00 – Meet at the Roundhouse or if staying locally we can collect you if you do not have a car
15:15 – Drive up to the top of the reserve
17:30 – Reach the bottom of the Dunes where the vehicle will be waiting at the stunning Die Plaat Beach

Summer Morning Trip – (October – April)
9:00 – Meet at the Roundhouse or if staying locally we can collect you if you do not have a car
9:15 – Drive up to the top of the reserve
11:30 – Reach the bottom of the Dunes where the vehicle will be waiting at the stunning Die Plaat Beach

Summer Sunset Trip – (October – April)
16:00 – Meet at the Roundhouse or if staying locally we can collect you if you do not have a car
16:15 – Drive up to the top of the reserve
18:30 – Reach the bottom of the Dunes where the vehicle will be waiting at the stunning Die Plaat Beach
